Bhaktiventa Institute Mission Higher Secondary School (BIMHSS), an English medium institute was founded in 1982 by His Divine Holiness Bhaktisvarupa Domodara Swami, M. Tech., Ph.D (California, USA). He as a scientist in the name of Dr. T.D. Singh was known for his pioneering efforts in interfacing science and spirituality. ISKCON Manipur centre was also established by him in 1977 fulfilling the instruction of his Gurudev, the Founder Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

BIMHSS affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, is a co-educational institute having classes started from the Balkrishna (B.K.) I equivalent to kinder-garden (K.G.-I) upto higher secondary level of Std. XII with Science, Arts and Commerce streams.

The management committee of BIMHSS comprises devotees, academicians, administrators and managerial experts. The management committee members are more or less the disciples and associates of the founder acharya of ISKCON Manipur.
